Reptile care guide
Prevention is better than cure!
The reptile care guide, prepared by Hôpital vétérinaire Animo-Vet, provides you a wealth of tips and advice on health, diet, care and behavior of your reptile.
Post adoption exam is recommended to ensure the animal is healthy.
Annual exam: A stool analysis, a blood swab and if means permit it a blood analysis and x-rays will allow to see the reptile’s normal reference values.
Quarantine
For each new acquisition. It can least 6 to 12 months depending on the reptile’s condition when he arrives.
Conspecific aggression
Green iguanas should not be put together because they show no pity with each other.
